A week or two ago Rupert Murdoch`s Wall Street Journal carried a story touting Iran`s attempt to purchase Copper-Tungsten alloy `for missile guidance systems.`

Every metallurgists in the world had a good joke as coper-tungsten alloy is used for LOTS of things. Most quite innocent.

Now we are told Iran is almost out of Uranium Oxide.. This could very well be the case. Development of Iran`s Uranium mines in Saghand, Anarak, and Gchine has lagged behind the much more difficult technical problem of enrichment.

This latest report actually counters alarmists. Though I doubt they see it.

What has been underway in Iran is far from a Manhattan Project.

A PERT diagram tends to show that the pacing item has been the construction of power reactors.
