The historical origins of Black/Jewish racial tension stemmed from the traditional roles of employer and employee. Jewish employers believed that wage demands were excessive and African American employees believed that they were being underpaid and exploited. Unfortunately, the present warm relationship between these two groups focussed on Obama`s electoral victory may only survive until the next round of wage negotiations in American industry.
