Religions have evolved; there was a time when the Roman Catholic Church burned people at the stake for presumed heresies. They have, however, stopped this practice centuries ago. Religions are supposed to evolve -- but Islam has not. Moslem imams routinely issued "fatwas" which order Moslem adherents to murder individuals who have done nothing other than exercise their inalienable right to freedom of speech or freedom of the press. The targets of the fatwas have had to go into hiding. Islam is a religion that not only condones violence, it DEMANDS it. Islam fosters hatred; that makes it a murderous cult, not a religion.
