| why is it considered offensive to muslims???? Probably it is just embarrassment, he has exposed a side of Islam which is dominant in some areas (and the Muslims know it) and thus has to pay the price in order that they save face. This is not the image of Islam that that Muslims want to present to the world but that it does exist is not questioned. I agree with him - it is a political decision, and a stupid one at that. |
