Most African-Americans relate to the plight of the Palestinian people. Given the recent Gaza operation, universally condemned by respected agencies and authorities worldwide, it is difficult to image a "...new era of Jewish-black relations." Interesting how the word "black" is not capitalized in your article, while the word "Jewish" is in caps. A preferred descriptor, for the record, is African-American.
