Israel gave up Sinai back to Egypt, due to president Anwar al Sadat`s courage in practical confidence-building actions, thus proving his sincerely wanting to strike a peace-deal with Israel, Carter was merely a facillitator. Israeli cocessions for peace comes from military & political strength on her own part. NO outside body can make decisions on israeli security and peace matters than her own government.
