| In choosing the Palestinian civilian populace as their enemy, the IDF did well. They inflicted many hundreds of casualties while only suffering a few of their own. Many pro-Israel posters brag of the 100 - 1 ratio of deaths. This will go into the annals of Israeli history as the most complete victory ever. Never mind that it did not topple Hamas or stop the rockets. It did give the IDF some confidence at a time when it was sorely needed. Let`s just hope that the IDF is not called upon to battle a more challenging enemy. The IDF is saying to themselves thank god we are next to Gaza and not Iran.... |
