Hamas may have thought it would fare better in the war but knew that it had no chance against the Israeli military. So, what was it trying to achive and how? It was trying to win the sympathy of the world and trigger hatred of Israel. How? Provoke Israel (with rockets) to attack and between the vaguaries of war, lots of negligence, accidents and some misbehaviour, compounded by Pal human & civilian infrastructure shield strategy, ensure that tons of Pals are killed & maimed & lots of civilian buildings are destroyed. It worked like a "charm". Pals and Gaza were devestated. The world sympathized with Gaza and villified Israel.
Here`s the rub. Without this emotional, albeit humane, but weak minded & unwarranted reaction, Hamas doesn`t sacrifice Pals or Palestine. Look yourselves in the mirror Pal sympathizers. Your the enemy & respnsible. Isreal`s choice of a propoganda victory or loss of civilians was so simple. The rest of the world has been duped and has blood on its hands. |
