France has fallen in love with Assad despite the fact he has said openly on the record he sees no reason to stop arming terrorists until he gets the Golan.
Also while the other arab states are pledging money to rebuild Gaza Assad has pledged money to Hamas to rapair the damage Israel has done to them.
Sartkozy is on a roll he sees himself as the man who was the peace broker to end the Gaza war becase he was running around to Syria and Egypt so now he thinks he is the man who will be able to solve the Israel / palestinian conflict.
If he does think that he is in for a big let down and he is gong to find that even if he does speak with Hamas its going to anger Israel, probably the US and certainly Abbas. |
