| i have great difficulty imagining being in the place of a dictator, the head of a police state. however, in his place, i would keep quiet. i certainly would not have called my fellow arab leaders "half men." i consider assad to be a cold, arrogant and calculating man who overestimates his and his country`s power. having russia`s navy sit in his ports might give him a sense of security, but he would have to give up all of that to make any deals with america, even with obama in the wh. assad has entangled himself too much to be able to free himself. |
