They had no use for this tiny dusty last remnant of the British Mandate, at the other side of the Sinai desert, nor for its unruly trouble-making population of Palestinians refugees. Now that our leaders have foolishly allowed Hamas to emerge there and develop, one has to be deranged to dream about Egypt willing to take in these enraged fanatics, just to do us a favor. Hamas has proved it is perfectly capable of governing Gaza, just not the way we Israeli like. That`s all. "The two state solution is dead." (Steven) Let us hope somebody there, at the White House, reads your post and reports to the new President. Let us hope also that he wouldn`t think to himself, "What a blockhead this Steven is, who does not know that no stateless occupied population can govern itself." |
