To achieve real peace, you need to talk to your enemy.If each side of this conflict do the degnified thing and talk to one another on the peaces of mutual recognition with Honesty and transparency ,then a hope of peace would be forthcoming
Hamas, like it or not, shall get stronger with every bomb dropped on Gaza or any other part of the occupied terretories.Israel has to respect the will of the Palestinian people when they elected Hamas in a transparent and monitored election.Same goes for the Palestinians in respecting the Israeli elections and its outcome.By burrying heads in the sand and neglecting realities,the conflict would get wider and Israel would not be safer.
To the Israelis I would say, the Palestinians of the 21st century are not those you have known in the early years of the creation of your state. This goes for the Arab nations,who no longer bear injustice like the rest in the `free world`. |
