| We did speak to them MANY times. Remember peace with Egypt and Jordan? Remember Barak and Arafat? Even the Saudi`s admitted that Arafat made a mistake by rejecting this deal. After 1967, Israel wanted to talk peace, remember the three NOs? Israel has been continuing to talk to Abbas, remember? So what is this nonsense. What Israel cannot do is negotiate the terms of its destruction -- which is ALL Hamas wants, without wavering -- repeat, Hamas in VERY clear terms wants Israel and all Jews DEAD. What are we supposed to negotiate? The blockade came only AFTER the rockets, and Egypt also closed the borders. If anyone has a real solution to ending the rockets, say so. I think Israel did what they did, because after 8 years of rockets, there was no other solution. |
