| DU has been used for decades by many armies all over the world. Israel is just one of the many who have used and contine to use DU munitions. Nobody even says anything when anybody else uses DU but when Israel does its treated like some kind of war crime. DU munitions release about as much radiation as cellphone masts and the only reason it is used is because it has greater penetration power due to the hardness of uranium making it good for penetrating tunnels or blowing holes in buildings. Israel is not signed up to any treaties banning the use of DU so it doesn`t matter what the IAEA or anybody else says Israel has broken no laws in its possible use. Palywood of course will spin this into a story claiming Israel has used nukes and the idiot left wing Europeans will buy it. |
