Do the editors, staff and headline writers of Haaretz feel embarrassed or goofy when articles like this are run as `news`?
I don`t know what the most expensive part of Iran`s cheap program to keep Israel inept and confused is.
Probably the cost of buying boxes of Chinese AKs. Perhaps it is they guy slapping the `Gift of the Islamic Republic of Iran` stickers over the `NAR Approved! ones.
And why not? Israel has just shown it isn`t going to pay the cost of getting rid of Hamas. So why not ship Hamas war toys?
There are not even that many Hamas troops to arm.
10-20,000 at the best unless you believe the most insane estimates of 40,000.
Probably less than 10,000.
That is a cheap force to arm to a weak level, and the payback is astounding.
Think of the many millions of ordnance expended by Israel in the last three weeks and think of how little Iran had to invest to cause that expenditure.
Of course Iran will rush aid to Hamas.
ANALYSIS / Israel needs to think before it acts. |
