| is Gerald Kaufmann a Labour MP and former cabinet minister. When the Nazis came to deport the Jews to the death camps she was ill in bed. The nazis shot her. What he actually said was that Israelis were using the Holocaust to justify their actions in Gaza. He refuted this by stating his Granmother did not die so that Israelis could kill women and children. As Mr Kaufmann was brought up as an Orthodox Jew I presume this statement is not anti semetic rather that he is a self hating jew. Either way there is nothing that could be construed as anti semetic in his statement. Also I am surprised that Haaretz does not no the difference between a death camp and a concentration camp. Also boycotting Starbucks because they send their profits to Israel is justified. To buy bullets Israel needs money. |
