There are many people who have sympathy for Israel`s problems, who support totally the existence of Israel, and who despise Hamas; but who are disgusted at the Israeli indifference over the lives of Palestinians.
And they find it insulting and arrogant to be told by those who support Israeli killing "We are on the same side as you", when they know fine that the killing is indefensible.
Sorry, no. With that argument you alienate your potential support: certainly tens of millions, and I would guess more. If the only way to support Israel is to support the killings in Gaza, they`ll stop supporting Israel. |
