If the Israeli government are so convinced that they haven`t perpatrated war crimes, then why are they worried?
Unless you are suggesting that the british and other western legal systems are corrupt/biased (an astonishingly ignorant approach) then surely you have nothing to worry about, other than filing clear evidence that you knew exactly what you were hitting when, and that no civillians died, or they only died where absolutely necessary and utterly minimised to attack a military target with legitimate precise weapons, and the Geneva Conventions were abided by. Then surely it is an excellent platform to prove your innocence? If however, it transpires that they used white phosphorous&it maimed indiscriminately, shot women waving white flags, fired on ambulances, prevented the ICRC getting to injured, targeted civillian infrastructure, bulldozed people in their homes, hit UN buildings etc, then I can see why they might be concerned...but then it might be said they were guilty, no? |
