| The fall-out for Israel will be appalling, particularly when world media begin to report its atrocities in detail. The world will be disgusted, as will Barack Obama, a decent man. The Gaza War was a terrible mistake for Israel, and it has gained NOTHING from it. Hamas have survived and are still in control of Gaza. They have not been disarmed. The starvation blockade will be broken by the international community - the key objective of Hamas. The international community will rebuild the infrastructure so wantonly destroyed by Israel. What has Israel gained? International revulsion and the loss of all sympathy. Now Iran will march serenely on to nuclear power status, with the world having lost all interest in Israel`s endless pestering for action. |
