| Israel has shown itself a power to reckon with-without help of USA. The timing of Israel`s defense was impeccable as is the timing for the truce. As BO will be sworn in as Prez Jan. 20 this is a time-out for Israel & possibly for reflection on the part of Hamas as to wisdom of continued fighting with Israel. As far as those US Jews who seek to influence the US government to pressure Israel to stop defending itself, I don`t think the independent state of Israel must heed them. |
