| Which is to say that keeping Israel alive is something of a balancing act. The situation in the United States is delicate. We are going through something right now. It`s hard to determine how this will impact Israel. We are readjusting our economic system right now as well as figuring out how to cope with the dynamics of things constantly changing in the World. Let`s say that idealistic US Jewry for the most part are pretty naive when it comes to what sustains us. I don`t know. We have had this influx of Muslims in the last 50 years. Many of them are politicizied. We tried to keep them out to no avail. So anyway, we and Europeans have to coexist with these people. I don`t want to get censored out, but on the surface war looks ghastly. But it was a big accomplishment for Israel. Everything worked, unlike in Lebanon. So at least for the Pentagon, Israel remains a strong and strategic ally. What can I say? I know we`ll have more problems ahead pretty soon. Obama has enough to worry about. |
