Well then it?s a good thing that Tel-Aviv isn?t our capital. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel (the people) for over 3000 years (the only nation to make Jerusalem its capital ever since)? And yes, Jerusalem has always wanted peace and will continue to want peace whether you like it or not.
Resolution 242 calls for the return of lands (note: not THE lands [this was very specifically worded]) occupied in the six day war in return for full and lasting peace. If you haven?t noticed, Israel has performed under this resolution with Egypt and Jordan. If the Palestinian Arabs don?t want peace, they don?t get land. That?s how 242 works. |
