What happened to the Doctor`s family is tragic and horrible. The commander who ordered the strike obviously did not intend to kill this man`s family. Nonetheless, there needs to be an investigation into this incident. Although there may have been legitimate concern for a sniper, the IDF needs to change the way it responds to such threats. Using a tank to fire into a residential building to hit a sniper is clumsy and dangerous, even if the intelligence is accurate and the aim is precise. To address your ?terrorist? issue, I believe you are throwing this word around too lightly. It is as irresponsible and inaccurate to refer to this as ?Israeli Terrorism,? as it is to refer to this operation as ?Genocide? or a ?Holocaust.?
