| I have many Turkish friends, and they all tell me the same thing when the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is brought up: "We are Muslims, and we have to support the Palestinians, because they are Muslims". I am not happy with that excuse, but I accept the reality. No matter how atrocious the crimes committed by Hamas are, Turkey will have to (at least in public) express their support for the Pal`s and criticize Israel. |
