Unfortunately A.B. Yehoshua should be taking Gideon Levy to task for a lot more, not least endangering free speach in Israel.
I can`t help but remember A.B.Yehoshua`s word in the euphoria of the post Oslo period, when the country was booming (soon to boom in other ways.)
Yehoshua both defended Oslo and ignored all warnings from rational thinking people on the dangers to follow.
He also was ready to throw out American Jewery financial support for Israel. Never mind that every ambulance in Israel has to be funded by anyone other than the arrogant person Yehoshua is. Thankfully Yohoshua does not represent main stream Israeli`s, although his criticism of him are welcomed. |
