| A clarification that is important: According to humanitarian law experts (there is of course always certain room for interpretation)Gaza continued and continues to be occupied, also after the disengagement. An area can be occupied even without military presence on the ground, by being totally controlled by a foreign power - borders, air space, shores etc. And through the boycott the situation was getting increasingly desperate even before the bombing. |
