| I doubt Israel will get even a 24 hour respite from missile fire from Gaza. Nothing short of finishing off Hamas and other armed radical elements will bring tranquility to the south of Israel. Ceasefires and armistice agreements are the road to disaster. America lost Viet Nam playing such games and the world got Hitler and the Holocaust because WWI ended with an armistice rather than a definitive allied victory. Israel should follow the example of Lincoln, FDR and Truman to fight until the enemy capitulates. |
