| It`s a fallacy to say that Jewish presence in Gaza or West Bank is illegal or immoral. On what grounds? The presence of Jews anywhere should not be an impediment to peace and coexistance. However, the presence of Jews in any number not even to speak of 200 mil is a serious blow to the Muslim religious confidence since Islam is based on premise that God rejected Jews. However, I also see no strength behind the argument "God gave us this land". Has God personally told them? They like Muslims would like to see their religious rival himiliated and defeated since it would imply God`s favor is with them. I would like to see both people strong. And if Arabs can tone down the ancient racist fervor and relinquish the occupied temple mount then I see no reason why some historic Jewish lands can`t be given to them. |
