| It is easy to understand Hamas` leadership in Damascus asking Hamas and Gaza at large to continue to fight.And it is easy to understand Hamas forcing the people of Gaza to suffer in the current fighting. But what do the non-combatant Gazans want at present? Israel should direct the last question to the people of Gaza. Is this what they want? If not, they know what they need to do;eject Hamas, by whatever means. And peace can then follow. A.Cohen |
