The State of Israel has a legal and moral duty to defend it citizens against terrorists who fire missiles and rockets at civilian targets, and have been doing so for years. (Why the Olmert government allowed this to continue is beyond the scope of this short reply).) It is unfortunate, even sad, if innocent civilians are caught in the cross-fire when Israeli soldiers, aiming at terrorists, try to prevent further rocket attacks, and mistakenly kill civilians--some of which are being used as human shields.
I look forward to reading posts on Arabic websites lamenting the death of innocent Israelis from Hamas terrorism. If anyone finds even a single such post, let us know! |
