No time-outs in war. The only recorded case of which I am aware was the Christmas Day truce during World War I. The Germans and Brits actually held a soccer game and sang Christmas carols together. Then the shooting started again the following day.
Hamas is on the run, their infrastructure is shot to hell (pardon the pun), their weapon stores and tunnels have systematically been found and destroyed and -- most importantly --the people whose best interests Hamas has consistently failed to represent have turned against them.
Finish off the whole sorry Hamas lot. No one will miss them, and the world will be a far better place. |
