You have unwittingly pointed out the sad history of the Palestinian people for the last sixty years. They think in terms of "revenge." They are not interested in recognizing their mistakes, and learning from them and not repeating those mistakes. They are grounded in revenge. If you are constantly looking back, you cannot ever hope to move forward in a meaningful way. And that, in a nutshell, is why the Palestinians have gone nowhere in sixty years. Israel has nothing to do with it; the Palestinians will never have anything until they move away from the concept of "revenge," and its practice. Revenge is a pretty primitive concept, anyway -- which explains why Gaza is one of the most socially and economically backward places on the planet. What has revenge done for the Palestinians in sixty years? Isn`t it time to try a different tack?
