| Since the birth of the Israeli state, Israel had to fight defencing wars, while its enemies were fighting for the destruction of the state of Israel. Hamas stil wants the destruction of Israel, perhaps now they will change their minds. As to civilians and children being kill, that happens in all wars, everywhere in the world and at all stages in human history. The most abused civilian population in the history of the world has been the jewish population, since it was persecuted and killed for close to 2,ooo yrs. Native americans, Africans or Asian civilian populations were not killed or persecuted for that long. Yes, all civilian suffering is bad, we jews know about that more than other populations, but we also know that Israel like any other nation has to protect itself at all cost against people that want to destroy and kill its population. |
