Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent: Arab parties: We'll establish an alternative Arab parliament

Title:Misleading headline

The headline "Arab parties: We`ll establish an alternative Arab parliament" implies that multiple Arab parties say they will establish an alternative Arab parliament.

However, the text of the article only refers to one Arab party making this claim. This is misleading, unhelpful journalism, especially because the headline could be read as meaning that all Israeli Arab parties support this claim. In fact, one Israeli Arab party (Hadash) is actually in this same article opposing it! Lazy, lazy journalsm.

I am also interested in the level of proof the The Central Eelections Committee used to decide that the Balad parety was guilty of "incitement, supporting terrorist groups and refusing to recognize Israel`s right to exist". Let`s see what the High Court makes of this decision. Hopefully (for the sake of Israel) they will make a decision based on law and not on opinion.
