| Imagine Indra, a nation with half the population of Mumbai. Imagine it with only 3/4 of that population subject to the draft. Now, imagine it at war right next door. Your criticism of the intense interest Israel takes in it`s soldiers is not so much wrong as uninformed. What would seem light casualties to an America of 120 million (1944) or India today, seem quite different to a nation as small as Israel. |
