| As a jew who still have family members in Turkey, I would like to send a message to the Israelis & Jews all over the world : ` Not only the government , but Turkish society is becoming more & more fundementalist everyday.Today ,Turkey is the most anti-semitic but also -very anti-western at the same time -muslim country in the world on the contrary to a declining minority of a secular & modern tradition still trying to survive. Today on the Turkish televisions, there`re even talks for returning back to the caliphate times for uniting all the muslims etc. by using this Arabic-Islamic conflict. They don`t even care about their local problems like PKK or anything else . In this kind of a context, I think Israel,the jewish lobbies etc should review their relationships with Turkey. But also EU & USA as they `re also hated very much ! To support a country which will turn to an enemy of you in the future is not really a wise idea ... |
