How amusing that people on the far right have changed their positions drastically over the last 14 days.
No longer is the goal to destroy Hamas. Forget about stopping the rocket launchers.
Now the goal is `deterrence` which is most amusing.
And Jeff, it was Israel which broke the cease fire on November 4.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, if Israel doesn`t crush Hamas then all it will achieve is status quo ante, which means the entire effort was a waste.
And, worst of all, Hamas will declare victory and the Palestinians will see it that way.
The psycho-right likes to yak about the great things they will accomplish in the wars they love, but when it comes down to the hard part. . . they change their tune.
Suddenly what they would have deemed `Munich all over again` becomes `a great victory.`
If Hamas survives Israel is no better off than before the attacks started.
In fact, because of the world reaction Israel will be worse off.
