| Israel does not call this a war (only nations can go to war, by the way) -- Hamas is not a nation by any stretch of the imagination -- they are nothing more than a terrorist rabble that has made the extremely bad judgment to take on what is pound for pound the most powerful military in the world. Had they not tunneled, smuggled weapons and fired missiles into Israeli population centers for years, Israel would have left them alone. But Hamas chose not to do so, and are paying the price. In spades. But do not elevate Hamas terrorists to the level of soldiers. They are scarcely that. I ask you this: if a German terrorist group were to fire thousands of missiles into Danish population centers, would Denmark have waited eight years before retaliating? I think not. I think they might have waited eight seconds. Please keep that in mind, sir. |
