Ashlenazi is wonderful as Chieff of Staff, mea. Yet the 2nd Lebanon war did not depend entirely on Dan Haluzt`s mistakes. It was a war conducted without propper planning, and stemming from an (understandable, yet dangerous) gut reaction. I give Gaby Ashkenazi all the credit for the superb successes and the excelent coordination with MI of Amos Yadlin, and Shin Beth of Yuval Diskin. Eiland and Barak should be commended too. And last but not least, every soldier, commando fighter, pilot, Givati and Golani soldier. Bravo IDF !
