It was Israeli politicians who flapped their noise holes in endless brags before the Second Lebanon war and defined the destruction of Hizbollah as `victory` and after they had done that Hizbollah had no trouble claiming that survival was victory.
Israel`s politicians have done the same in this war. After all the bragging by Barak, Livni, and Olmert unless Hamas is destroyed, it will be able to claim victory.
Perhaps the greatest boost to victory Israel could have would be to gag it`s politicians. |
