Israel`s unforgivable sin in all this was that she had ready at hand an unimpeachable peaceful means for having avoided both Lebanon and Gaza: the Arab League Peace Initiative.
Israel chose war in both instances, in order to cling to her Settler Enterprise, her OCCUPATIONS, rather than accept an honourable peace. Israel could have turned over her Settlements to the Palestinian refugees denied return to their ancestral possessions in Israel, a value no less than the properties developed in Israel`s settlements. Instead of choosing peace in prosperity and honour, Israel chose to increase her debt. |
