| There is no contradiction. When we serve in the army we do our best to serve our country and people, when we resist evacuating settlements we also believe we are serving our country and our people as we know (as shown in gaza and lebanon) that evacuation brings more terror and deeper into Israel. There is no contradiction, and those that think settlers who resist settlement evacuations are being anti-state are misinformed. The majority of settlers and religious zionists are G-d fearing Jews who love this land, and love this state. We will always act in the way we feel is for the best for Israel and our people. Those who resist evacuations with violence against soldiers are a tiny minority, smaller than the amount of anarchists attacking soldiers in Bi`ilin every day, and yes, the media attention is disporportionate. |
