| Simply occupy the Philadelphia route and cut off weapons supply to Hamas unilaterally. Maybe being in place to do this will create the pressure for all of Hamas to accept another option in a cease-fire. For Israel the importance is in preventing any rockets capable of reaching Tel Aviv from being smuggled in, whatever means are used. |
