| Egypt has taken a lot of crap in the last few weeks. It has been a good ally of Israel and upheld it`s agreements in every way possible. Operating against tunnels across a border would require bombing runs across the border for maximum effect and minimum wasted bombs. I would be quite surprised if Egypt did not give permission to Israel to use optimal tactics against the tunnels which - by treaty - Egypt has lacked the forces in Sinai to suppress. |
