| It is good to hear from you after so many months. "If you really cared about the people of Gaza, you would call for the end to the stupid rocket fire." - Gaza Bar and Grill Hamas did press for and got an end to rocketry for months. It was of course a ploy to achieve political ends, primarily the end to the blockade and it failed. "There is no humiliation in laying down our arms for the sake of saving our women and children." - ibid No humiliation, but certain arrest, death, and failure. The plight of Gaza is out of it`s hands. Only Israel has the strength, power and position to make any significant change. The Gazan dilemma is that if it submits peacefully, nothing will change; and if it fights back, nothing will change. So then we are down to humanity. Young men of substance fight back, and old men that live only for hate, are always happy to lead them. |
