| Terrorists are sometimes the ambulance drivers. Shots have been fired from Red Crescent ambulances. Red Crescent ambulances have been frequently used to transport guns, bombs and explosive belts. Explosive belts have been found under the stretchers of sick children. A U.N. ambulance, owned and operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), was used by armed terrorists in Gaza as getaway transportation after murdering six Israeli soldiers in Gaza City on May 11, 2004. |
