| Public relations is an important aspect of any serious war effort, for at least 4 reasons: (i) increasing morale ot home, (ii) increasing support abroad/diplomatically or at leasting countering your adversary`s propaganda effort, (iii) confusing the adversary with disinformation, and (iv) lowering the adversary`s morale. What`s REALLY bad for democracies is LOSING wars (all the more so for tiny countries like Israel). Leave the goal of obtaining purity of democratic ideals for peacetime. It is of some concern that this war is occuring right before an election, but Israelis are pretty smart. |
