The media in UK are making the public aware that Hamas ambitions go far beyond elimination Israel - they like numerous other panislamic fundementalist seek universal acceptance of Islam. They use violence to provoke massive relaliation and so increase the symathy and support of the moslem masses. They are succeeding in Iraq - Afghanistan and elsewhere
- the only way to stop them is if influential Moslem leaders ( religious and secular ) openly reject them. Not likely - there is a univeral taboo against tribal disloyalty. I can see no solution - |
