The targeted school is UN run and the body count was done by the UN employees on the ground, not as your report stated by Hamas. Anyway Hamas is a huge organisation which is the elected Government of Palestine. Therefore it, like any other Government it runs the health service along with education, social welfare etc. It has an armed wing also called someting or other in Arabic, but that is a small part of the overall movement.
Regarding the two IDF massacres in Qana (known to Christians as Canaa - of the marriage feast). One of them was an inhabited apartment block in 2006, the other was in another UN base where local residents were told they would find sanctuary, during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1996 . The IDF bombed it using artillery and killed 120 civilians taking shelter. |
