| The goal of the IDF was not to bring back Gilad Shalit, rather, to stop the firing of kassam rockets and smuggling tunnels (to prevent further kidnappings and weapon smuggling). I`m sure it`s really hard for many Israelis, particularly the Shalit family. I doubt anyone is "satisfied." Israel has been putting this incursion off in attempts to negotiate a stop to the kassam rockets and a return of the captured soldiers. Israel is doing what it must to protect its citizens. |
